Jessica Cardenas Turner is a Postdoctoral Researcher at TRI Princeton since June 2022. Prior to that, Jessica worked as a Ph.D. Research Fellow at New Jersey Intitute of Technology from September 2013 to May 2021. Jessica has a background in Biomedical Engineering, with experience in developing and characterizing novel fibrous scaffolds using plant-derived materials to enhance osteogenic activity in vitro. Jessica also has experience as a NASA Space Technology Research Fellow at NASA Ames Research Center and as a Technology Assistant at Princeton Public Schools. Their internships at GE Healthcare and CAE have also provided their with valuable technical experience in the field.
