Lesa Ostini has an extensive work experience, primarily in scientific research institutes. Lesa started their career at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute in 1996 as a Senior Research Assistant/Laboratory Manager, a role they held for 20 years until 2016. During this time, they gained valuable experience in managing research projects and leading teams. In 2016, they joined the Translational Research Institute Australia, initially as a Scientific Services Officer, responsible for providing support and assistance in scientific services. Lesa later progressed to the role of Scientific Services Coordinator, where they played a key role in coordinating various scientific activities. Currently, Lesa serves as the Scientific Services Manager at the Translational Research Institute Australia, a position they have held since February 2023. Their expertise and experience make their a valuable asset in the field of scientific research.
Lesa Ostini completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Griffith University, during the period of 1992 to 1994. Following this, they pursued a Post-graduate Diploma in Clinical Biochemistry from the same university, specifically in the field of Clinical Biochemistry, during the year 1995.
