Alan Ballany is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations management and strategic planning across various industries. Currently serving as the Business Systems Manager and Head of Operations at TRG Arts since July 2022, Alan previously held similar leadership roles at Purple Seven and Culture Republic, where Alan focused on audience engagement and support for cultural organizations in Scotland. Prior to these positions, Alan gained valuable skills in manufacturing operations and human resource management at companies such as Shapeways and arvato Benelux B.V. Additionally, Alan has hands-on experience in metalworking and has worked as a freelancer in the film and television sector. Alan holds a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design and completed training through the Scottish Screen New Entrants Training Scheme.
