Chris van der Voorn has extensive experience in various leadership and strategic roles across multiple organizations. As the Directeur and co-owner at TRES internet since September 2000, Chris has played a crucial role in internet strategy. Additional responsibilities include serving as the Bestuurder and founder of Oranjewoud Export Academy and as a member of the regioraad for Kamer van Koophandel since 2017. Chris held the position of CEO at gmak.nl until April 2022, advocating for self-managed home sales. Involvement with VNO-NCW Nederland spanned several years, with Chris contributing to the general board and local chapters in Noord and Friesland, promoting favorable conditions for businesses. Other notable contributions include chairing Young Northern Entrepreneurs (JNO), advising for the "Entrepreneur Coaches Entrepreneur" initiative, being on the board of Stichting NijT, founding Trendship—a business innovation event—and serving as Secretary for Ondernemerskring Heerenveen.
