Joanne Sokolowski is an experienced professional in alumni relations and event management with a career spanning over two decades. Since 2007, Joanne has served as the Manager of Alumni Relations & Convocation at Trent University, where responsibilities include leading strategic planning and execution of alumni programs and overseeing annual Convocation ceremonies. Previously, Joanne held the position of Manager, Convocation & University Functions, organizing key institutional events at Trent University. Prior roles include Special Events Supervisor in Programming for the City of Toronto, where Joanne programmed large-scale community events, and work in Arts & Heritage at the City of Scarborough, focusing on community engagement and art management. Educational qualifications include a BA in Arts Administration with a focus on Art History from the University of Toronto Scarborough and a Certificate in Volunteer Management from Fleming College.
