David Winfield has over 14 years of work experience in various roles. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Scrum Master at Trendsic, where they managed four Agile Delivery teams across three clients and implemented Agile, Code Development, and QA best practices. David also developed an internal onboarding process and mentored junior and mid-level project managers and scrum masters. In 2019, they were hired as the Director of IT Project Management at Tulane University and was later promoted to PMO Director. David created new policies and procedures for Tulane University to implement project management best practices. In 2019, they also began working as a Manager of Project Management at iSeatz. In 2016, they began working as an IT Project Manager at Delta Dental Insurance Company, where they managed more than 12 projects and oversaw all projects with in the PMO. In 2014, they began working as a Project Manager at Maritz Motivation Solutions, where they managed the scheduled migration of 160 clients and launched over 20 new client sites. In 2012, they began working as a Project Manager (LCU) at Sayres and Associates, Corp. In 2011, they began working as a Project Manager (LCU) at ICI Services. In 2010, they began working as a Treaty Analyst at BAI Inc. In 2007, they began working as a Program Assistant - Global Operations at CRDF Global. In 2006, they began working as a Legislative Correspondent - Office of Senator George V. Voinovich (R-OH) (Retired) at the United States Senate.

David Winfield obtained a B.A. in Political Science from Grove City College in 2005. David then attended The George Washington University from 2007 to 2009, earning an M.A. in Security Policy Studies. In 2008, they also studied National Security Policy Studies at the University of Sydney. In 2013, they obtained a Project Management Practitioner (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2017, they received a Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org, and in 2018 they received a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from SixSigma.us.
