Michael Leitner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and development within the chemical and materials industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of R&D at CPG Europe since March 2019, Michael previously held the position of Technical Director of Sealants & Coatings at tremco illbruck group from April 2016 to February 2019. Prior to this, Michael held various technical leadership roles at MHM Holding GmbH from January 2013 to March 2016, including Group R&D Director and Managing Director of Gleitsmann Security Inks GmbH. Before that, an R&D management and expert role was held at Hilti from December 1999 to December 2012, overseeing product development in multiple business units. Michael's academic background includes a PhD in Polymer Science from Technische Universität Berlin and a Dipl.-Chem. in Polymer Science from the University of Bayreuth, along with experience as a lecturer in Polymer Science at Technische Universität Berlin from November 1997 to November 1999.
