Joe Gonyea has extensive legal experience, currently serving as a Charter Member of TechGC since September 2021, where General Counsels engage in knowledge sharing and support. Previously, Joe held the position of General Counsel at Snow Software from February 2018 to September 2024, overseeing global legal affairs, M&A, IPO readiness, and corporate governance for a high-growth international software company. Prior roles include Deputy General Counsel at Snow Software, Corporate Counsel at Upland Software, and Counsel at Gonyea Law, along with serving as an Adjunct Professor at South Texas College of Law Houston, where Joe taught trial litigation and advocacy skills. Joe earned a Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law Houston and a BA in Government and Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin.
