Jack Young is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Trellix, where work focuses on cybersecurity following a merger of FireEye and McAfee's enterprise solutions since January 2022. Prior experience includes a tenure at FireEye, Inc. from November 2014 to January 2022, where Jack served as a Staff Software Engineer and Solutions Lead, contributing to the Endpoint threat prevention platform and co-inventing the patented Enterprise Search feature for identifying threats in real time. Earlier roles spanned various software engineering positions at FireEye, Inc., Mandiant, and other companies. Jack holds a Master of Science in Software Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from George Mason University.
