Ashok Banerjee currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Research and Development at Trellix since September 2022. Prior experience includes holding the position of Vice President of VMware Platform Services at VMware, where Ashok focused on developing multi-cloud components and services. At Symantec, Ashok contributed as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Enterprise Security Products and Consumer Security Products, creating a cohesive SaaS portfolio and enhancing user experiences. Earlier career roles include Vice President of Supply Chain Platform at Flipkart, Senior Engineering Manager at Twitter managing user growth initiatives, and Senior Manager at Google, where Ashok developed both a data warehouse platform and the billing/payment engine. Additional experience includes teaching at San Jose State University, as well as leadership positions at BEA and Oracle. Ashok holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
