Michael Chu started their work experience as a Producer at Blink from April 2011 to May 2012. Michael then joined Riot Games in June 2012 as a Technical Coordinator, where they built the organization structure and processes for the Technology department until October 2014. From October 2014 to January 2017, they worked as a Product Manager - Personalization at Riot Games, leading the monetization team for League of Legends. Michael shipped hundreds of Champion skins and launched new monetized products. From January 2017 to March 2018, they held the position of Product Manager - Champions at Riot Games. From March 2018 to August 2019, they worked as the Product Manager - Modes at Riot Games. Finally, in September 2019, Michael Chu became the Co-Founder and CEO of Treehouse Games.
Michael Chu attended Monta Vista High School from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Michael then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management at USC Marshall School of Business from 2007 to 2011. Following that, they pursued another Bachelor's degree in Interactive Entertainment at the University of Southern California from 2010 to 2012.
