Kurtis Blaikie-Birkigt has extensive experience in environmental and archaeological services, serving as Board President and Heritage Advisor for Project Forest from October 2020 to December 2024. From April 2008 to December 2024, Kurtis led Tree Time Services Inc. as President, managing over 120 employees across various business lines while fostering relationships with First Nations. Previously, Kurtis held roles at Ember Archaeology, progressing from Senior Project Archaeologist to General Manager, where substantial growth in the archaeology team was achieved since 2010. Kurtis' early career included a position as Project Archaeologist at Western Heritage Services, focusing on historical resource management for forestry and energy sectors. Academic qualifications include a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Alberta.
