Preben Sandve Solvang has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and automation. Preben Sandve started their career as an Automation Technician at GO Digital AS in 2011, where they mostly worked on control systems for the offshore oil industry. Their responsibilities included panel building, testing, PLC programming, technical drawing, and documentation work.

In 2019, Solvang joined ABB as a Summer Intern, focusing on industrial computer networks and cloud-based dashboards. Preben Sandve successfully developed cloud-based dashboards for the Customer Experience Center and collected data from sensors using various communication protocols.
