Melissa Oribhabor Reeves has extensive experience in community relations and public communications, currently serving as the Community Relations Manager for Johnson County, Kansas Government since October 2018. In this role, Melissa leads internal and external communications, manages branding for Johnson County Wastewater, and promotes services through strategic initiatives and educational campaigns. Prior positions include Community Relations Manager for Developmental Supports, Director of Public Relations for the City of Springdale, and marketing roles at J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. and Newz Group. Melissa has also gained valuable teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Missouri and has held various internships in journalism and reporting. Academically, Melissa holds multiple degrees including Master's degrees in Economics and Journalism, as well as Bachelor's degrees in Communication and Media Studies and Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Missouri.
