Aki Ariga is a Principal Software Engineer at Treasure Data since August 2018, where Aki has led multiple cross-team projects to enhance the Customer Data Platform by designing architectures and developing features. Aki developed dynamic data pipelines utilizing Ruby on Rails and Hive/Trino, and implemented a hosted Python execution environment to support machine learning workloads, achieving a 20% increase in ML customers among G2k companies. Prior experience includes consulting on Kubernetes-based machine learning architecture at LegalOn Technologies, serving as a Sales Engineer at Cloudera to facilitate data-driven use cases, and developing web applications at COOKPAD Inc. Aki began a research career at Toshiba, focusing on natural language processing and machine learning. Aki holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Nagoya University.
