Casey Thurmon is a Patient Specific Design Engineer at Treace Medical Concepts, Inc. since August 2023. Prior professional experience includes serving as an IPS Design Engineer I at KLS Martin Group from October 2021 to August 2023, and working at the University of Arkansas from August 2020 to October 2021 as a Research Stress and Sleep Research Lab Assistant and Chemistry I Supplemental Instruction Leader. Earlier, Casey volunteered as a Research Assistant at Louisiana Tech University, focusing on EEG analysis and histology related to seizure prediction and Alzheimer’s research. Additional roles include Data Entry Specialist at Viper Oil and Gas, and hospitality positions at Chick-fil-A and The Blind Tiger. Casey holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Arkansas, obtained in 2021.
