Chris Mickle

National Service Lead, EHS Digital Technology at TRC

Chris Mickle has a wealth of experience in environmental data management and information management systems. Chris began their career at CDM Smith, working as the New England Area Operations Manager and later as the Environmental Remediation Division Resource Manager. Chris then became the Data Analysis and Statistics Subdiscipline Leader and eventually the Environmental Data Management Group Leader.

In 2013, Mickle joined Cardno as the Senior Project Manager and later became the Environmental Information Practice Leader. Their responsibilities included designing and implementing information management systems and database designs, as well as establishing quality assurance project plans.

Currently, Mickle is working at TRC Companies, Inc. as the Technical Director, Information Management. Chris is responsible for implementing best practices and enhancements to the company's information management practice, with a focus on utilizing mobile, cloud, and streaming technologies. Their work spans multiple sectors, including industrial, power, and oil and gas.

Chris Mickle attended Northeastern University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems. In 2016, they enrolled at North Carolina State University, focusing on Geospatial Information Technology and Science. In terms of additional certifications, Chris obtained the Scrum Fundamentals certification from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in 2016. Chris also earned the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in March 2015.
