Michael Smith has a diverse professional background, currently serving as a Recovery Tech at SpaceX since August 2024 and as an Ambassador for the Travis Manion Foundation. Prior experience includes roles as an Engineer at Oceaneering, a Project Engineer at Statewide Stripes Inc., and an Outside Machinist at CEM Corporation, among others. Michael's military experience includes service in the US Marine Corps, where skills in electronics were honed at the USMC Communications/Electronics School. Educationally, Michael is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration at Trident University International, building on previous studies in electronics and biology at Grossmont College and UCLA.
