Pete C. has extensive work experience in the manufacturing industry. Pete started their career at San Antonio Lighthouse for the Blind in 2006, where they worked as a Manufacturing Technician & Safety Coordinator. Pete was responsible for ensuring safety program compliance and maintaining records of safety training activities. In 2010, they became a Manufacturing Engineer at the same company, where they coordinated manufacturing projects and implemented lean manufacturing principles. In 2018, they were promoted to Engineering Manager at SALBVI, where they continued to oversee manufacturing processes. In 2019, they joined the San Antonio Lighthouse for the Blind as the Director of Manufacturing Engineering & Facilities Management. Pete recently transitioned to Austin Lighthouse in 2023, where they currently hold the position of Vice President of Manufacturing.

Pete C. has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Pete also has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, with a minor in Spanish Language and Latin American Studies, from The University of Texas at San Antonio. In addition, Pete C. holds a Lean Black Belt Professional certification from the International Association for Six Sigma Certification.
