Garrett G. Smith, EIT has work experience as a Roadway Engineer at TranSystems since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at VHB as an Environmental Planner from February 2015 to July 2021. At VHB, their role included project permitting, ecological field studies, wetland delineations, and various other tasks related to environmental planning for a wide range of projects. Some notable projects they were involved in include I-75 Commercial Vehicle Lanes, I-285/I-20 Interchange Reconstruction, and Ronald Reagan Boulevard Extension, among others.
Garrett G. Smith, EIT, obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from Kennesaw State University. Garrett G. attended the university from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Science from Georgia College & State University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014.
In addition to their educational background, Garrett G. Smith also holds various certifications. Garrett G. obtained a certification in Construction Safety and Health from OSHA 10-hour in September 2021. Garrett G. also achieved the title of Civil Engineer in Training from NCEES in July 2021.
