Charlie Scarlett has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Currently, they work at Transworld Business Advisors as a Business Broker. With over 45 years of experience, Charlie has managed, owned, bought, and sold businesses. Prior to their current role, Charlie was the President of Brandywine Foundation Inc., a non-profit corporation supporting charitable and educational purposes. Charlie also served as the Owner, CEO, and Franchisee of Lifecare Missouri Inc, dba BrightStar of Central & South St Louis County, where they provided high-quality in-home nursing services. Additionally, Charlie worked as a Self-employment Coach and Franchisee for The Entrepreneur's Source, a national business coaching firm. Charlie was also a Chapter Facilitator for Gray Hair Management (GHM-STL), providing professional coaching and networking opportunities to managers and executives. In the past, Charlie held positions such as Sr. VP - Small Ship Cruises at Grand Circle Travel and President of Explorer Shipping Corp at Abercrombie & Kent. Charlie has also served as the Vice President and Treasurer at Ramsay, Scarlett & Co. Charlie's work experience also includes roles as the VP and Chief Financial Officer at Rotorcraft Partnerships Ltd. and as the Honorary Consul for the District of Maryland representing the Kingdom of Sweden.

Charlie Scarlett attended Washington College from 1971 to 1975, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies. Following this, from 1975 to 1977, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General Management at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
