Gerard O'Dea is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in asset management and project engineering across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer in Asset Management at Transport Infrastructure Ireland since July 2022, Gerard focuses on network management and active travel initiatives. Previous roles include Senior Engineer at Pavement Management Services Ltd, where significant contributions included leading the development of a comprehensive asset inventory and valuation for the TII road network. Gerard's earlier experience includes serving as a Project Engineer for the N6 Galway City Transport Project at Arup and handling sophisticated data analytics and reporting for road condition data at Pavement Management Services Ltd. Gerard holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Civil Engineering from the University of Galway, attained in 2011.
