Paul Dean has over 17 years of work experience, starting in 2005 as a Graduate Accountant at Haines Watts. Paul then joined Transport for Greater Manchester in 2006, where they held various positions including Accounts Production Officer, Procurement Analyst, and Procurement - Commodity Manager. From 2013 to 2018, Paul served as the Metrolink Contracts Manager, with responsibilities including managing outsourced contracts and participating in the re-procurement of the Metrolink Operations and Maintenance Contract. In 2018, they were promoted to Metrolink Commercial Manager, and currently holds the position of Head of Commercial Management - Franchising.

Paul Dean completed their BSc (Hons) degree in Mathematics from the University of Leeds, attending from 2002 to 2005. Paul also pursued a MCIPS degree in Purchasing and Supply from Cheltenham Tutorial College (Distance Learning) for the academic year 2009-2010.
