Kalyan Bhowal has extensive work experience in the manufacturing industry. Kalyan is currently the Head of Manufacturing at Translumina Therapeutics, where they oversee manufacturing, quality, regulatory compliance, planning, procurement, and logistics. Kalyan is also responsible for setting up a new manufacturing facility in Dehradun as part of the company's expansion plan.

Prior to joining Translumina Therapeutics, Kalyan worked at BD as the Head of Plant Quality and Regulatory, where they were in charge of ensuring quality standards and regulatory compliance. Kalyan also served as the Function Head of Manufacturing, where they managed manufacturing operations.

Before BD, Kalyan held the role of Manager - Refrigerator Production at LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd. Kalyan was responsible for overseeing the production process for refrigerators.

Earlier in their career, Kalyan worked as a Sr. Engineer-Production at Whirlpool of India Ltd. and as an Engineer-Manufacturing at Amtrex Hitachi Appliances Limited.

Kalyan Bhowal pursued their undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) from 1993 to 1997.
