Paul Rodarte has a diverse work experience in various roles. Paul began their career as a Marketing Coordinator at Applied Medical, where they oversaw trade show logistics and contributed to the increase in annual sales. Paul then joined Warner Bros. Entertainment as a Physical Production Trainee, where they managed executive calendars, performed database management, and played a crucial role in the physical delivery of confidential documentation for high-budget productions.

After that, Paul worked at HBO and Radical Media as a Set Production Assistant, supporting Assistant Directors in physical production-related matters. Paul adapted to communication and workflow protocols with talent and crew from various departments, contributing to the smooth running of daily filming objectives.

Paul then joined Radical Media | Universal Pictures | Columbia Pictures as a Clearance Administrator, where they facilitated the clearance of artwork, set dressing, props, and costumes for production companies and ad agencies. Paul reduced potential legal claims and post-production fixes by monitoring production activities and implemented a Clearance Request Form, streamlining the clearance process.

Following that, Paul joined Smithsonian Channel as a Supervisor and later as a Manager in Rights and Clearances. In these roles, they ensured the company's rights and clearances policies were followed, resulting in increased efficiency, cost savings, and revenue growth. Paul disseminated license templates and rates, maintained a company-wide rights database, and renewed expiring third-party program elements to save substantial costs.

Most recently, Paul worked at NYC & Company as a Senior Manager in Rights and Clearances. Paul oversaw and advised internal teams to ensure the company's policies and deliverable requirements were met, and they liaised with creative stakeholders in a major tourism campaign for New York City.

Currently, Paul is working as a Business Affairs Manager at Translation.

Paul Rodarte earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with an emphasis in Journalism from Chapman University. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Informational Interviewing, Engage the Likability Effect in the Job Search, and Getting into the Mind of the Hiring Manager from LinkedIn, with completion dates in October and November 2020.
