Abigail Barzallo is an experienced interpreter and business owner with a robust background in providing English/Spanish interpretation services for diverse industries. Currently serving as the owner and freelance interpreter at Southern Interpreting since June 2021, Abigail facilitates communication for the Limited English Proficiency community, showcasing strong interpersonal skills. Additionally, Abigail holds roles as a Spanish interpreter for various organizations, including the Georgia Department of Public Health and SOS International, specializing in early childhood intervention and federal immigration court settings, respectively. With a comprehensive experience in medical, legal, and educational interpreting, Abigail has contributed to numerous companies such as MTI America, Translation Station, Inc., and ALTA Language Services, Inc. Abigail possesses a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Valdosta State University, complemented by professional training at the Southern California School of Interpretation. Abigail previously co-owned a successful masonry subcontracting construction company, demonstrating entrepreneurial skills and leadership.
