Beatriz Alvarado is an experienced educator and translator with a strong background in language instruction and interpretation. Currently serving as a Freelance Translator and Interpreter at Translation Station, Inc. since January 2019, and as a Parent Liaison for the Cobb County School District since July 2021, Alvarado has also worked as a freelance Educational Interpreter since January 2021. Previous roles include Spanish Teacher at The Epstein School, where Alvarado developed innovative curriculum and employed various teaching methods, and World Language Teacher at The Walker School, focusing on Spanish, French, and Latin. Alvarado's extensive freelance translation and interpretation work spans organizations such as the Democratic Party of Georgia and Catholic Charities of Atlanta. With advanced degrees in Latin American Studies and French Language and Literature from the University of Florida and Emory University, respectively, Alvarado is dedicated to fostering inclusive learning environments and enhancing communication across cultural divides.
