Vikrom Mathur serves as the Founding Director of Transitions Research since July 2021 and has held the position of Senior Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation since November 2014. Prior to these roles, Vikrom Mathur was the Founding Director at Tandem Research India from April 2016 to July 2021 and worked at the Stockholm Environment Institute from 1997 to 2012, where responsibilities included Research Fellow and Manager of the SEI Asia Office, as well as Research Associate. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Adaptation to Climate Change from the University of Oxford, a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering & Sustainable Infrastructure from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University.
