Patrick Duffy is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the medical device industry. Currently serving as the Global Manager Innovation Quality at Transitions Optical since July 2023, Patrick previously held the position of Senior Project Manager at Selio Medical, where a successful plan for FDA 510K submission was developed in a short timeframe. Over a 26-year tenure at Boston Scientific, Patrick progressed from Senior Business Process Improvement Engineer to Senior Process Development Manager, leading a department in new product development and continuous improvement initiatives. Prior teaching experience as a lecturer at Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology encompassed Six Sigma and Lean methodologies. Patrick holds a Master of Science in Technology Management from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from University College Dublin.
