Marius Rebmann has worked in a variety of roles in the fields of data science, computational biology, and research. In 2022, they began working as a Data Scientist, Computational Biology at Transition Bio, Inc. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and PHD Candidate at the University of Cambridge, where they dissected the cellular architecture and genetic regulation of plant growth in the emerging model plant Marchantia polymoprha. In 2020, they completed a Data Science Internship at UL, where they used machine learning to develop an anomaly detection model for corporate sustainability data. In 2016, they completed an Internship at the Max-Planck Institute for Immunology and Epigenetics. Finally, from 2010 to 2012, they worked as an Office Clerk and Assembler at Metallbau.
Marius Rebmann has a varied educational background. Marius began their studies in 2011 at Max-Weber Schule Freiburg, where they earned a German Abitur in Economics and Business studies in 2014. Marius then attended Imperial College London, where they earned a degree in Biological Sciences in 2017. Marius then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in Plant Sciences at the University of Cambridge, which they completed in 2021.
