Matt Tracey began their work experience as an IT Project Manager at Dataconversion Direct in March 2001. Matt held this position for over 14 years, until October 2015. In September 2015, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Transit9 | Transport Operations, a role which they currently hold.

Matt Tracey attended Cabinteely Community School from 1982 to 1987. Matt then went on to Trinity College Dublin from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a BA and BAI degree in Engineering with a concentration in Computer Software Engineering.
