Frank Alonso has had a diverse range of work experience. In 2011, they started as a School Counselor Intern at School District U-46. Frank then worked as an ELL School Counselor at St. Charles Community Unit School District 303 from August 2012 to June 2013. In 2013, they joined Frontline Technologies as a Technical Specialist and later became a Project Manager from March 2015 to September 2015. From 2013 to 2018, Frank served as the Lead Developer and Founder of Mantis Studios. In 2015, they also worked as an Associate Client Integration Engineer at Conversant, LLC from October 2015 to February 2016. Since July 2018, Frank has been the Founder and CEO of TransferThought.

Frank Alonso obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Illinois Wesleyan University between 2006 and 2010. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's Degree in Counseling at Loyola University Chicago from 2010 to 2012.
