Matthew O'Brien is an experienced TMC Operations Manager at TransCore since February 2022, previously serving as an Eligibility Interviewer with Community Action and Human Services for Miami-Dade County from November 2020 to May 2021. With a background as Operations Manager for the Port Miami Tunnel at Ferrovial Services North America from January 2014 to January 2017, O'Brien facilitated operations for a $1 billion project. Earlier, O'Brien worked as an ITS Operations Engineer for the Florida Department of Transportation, where contributions included implementing best practices for incident management and developing the first bilingual 511 information service. O'Brien holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Miami and multiple degrees in music from esteemed institutions, including various certifications in security and ethical hacking.
