Maria Gordin has extensive work experience in software engineering and architecture. Maria started their career as a Sr. Software Developer at the University of Pittsburgh in 1989. Maria then worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at SolArc, Inc. from 1997 to 1999. Maria moved on to Target Systems as a Sr. Systems Architect from 1999 to 2001. Maria joined TransCore in 2001 and held various roles including Sr. Software Architect until 2018, when they became the General Manager of PTC Software Systems. In August 2021, Maria was appointed as the Director of Software Engineering at TransCore.

Maria Gordin obtained a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Latvijas Universitate in 1986. Maria later pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Tulsa, graduating in 1997.
