Heba Ahmed has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and organizations. Heba currently works as a Separation Scientist at the Separation Business Unit in Trajan Scientific and Medical since 2022. Prior to this, they held several positions at RMIT University, including being a Workload Committee Representative for the School of Engineering from September 2021 to May 2022, and working as a Postdoctoral Researcher from July 2018 to May 2022. Heba also worked as a Researcher in the Youssef Jameel Science and Technology Center at the American University in Cairo from August 2011 to May 2014. Heba gained further research experience as a Visiting Researcher at both the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from November 2010 to August 2011 and Harvard University from 2010 to August 2011. Heba's career started as a Pharmacist at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria University, Egypt from 2001 to 2006.
Heba Ahmed completed their education in a chronological order. Heba obtained a Bachelor's degree in an undisclosed field of study from The American University in Cairo from 2008 to 2010. During the same period, they also pursued a Master's degree in Biotechnology from the same institution. Later, from 2014 to 2018, Heba Ahmed attended RMIT University, where they earned their Doctorate degree (PhD) in Chemical Engineering.
