Kevin Mills has a diverse and extensive work experience in the environmental and policy advocacy field. Kevin has worked as the Vice President of Policy for Rails-to-Trails Conservancy since 2006, where they lead advocacy efforts to make biking and walking safer and trail systems accessible for Americans. Prior to that, they worked for the Environmental Defense Fund as the Director of Pollution Prevention Alliance, where they directed programs to reduce climate and health impacts, promote sustainable transportation, and launch innovative collaborative ventures. Before that, they worked as a Staff Attorney for the East Michigan Environmental Action Council.
Kevin Mills attended Oberlin College from 1980 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Environmental Studies. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Michigan Law School from 1985 to 1987, obtaining a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
