Trent Brunson is an experienced professional in research and development, currently serving as the Director of Research & Development and Principal Security Engineer at Trail of Bits. Previously, Trent held the position of Senior Research Scientist at the Georgia Tech Research Institute and worked as an Adjunct Professor at SUNYIT. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Engineer at Assured Information Security, Inc. and completing graduate studies at Emory University. Trent holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from Emory University, obtained between 2006 and 2014, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from West Texas A&M University, earned between 2001 and 2005.
