Chris McLaird has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Chris began their career as a Computer Technician at PartStock Computer, where they refurbished technology hardware and provided technical training to colleagues. Chris then joined Sovran, Inc. as a Helpdesk Tech II, where they provided tier II support, especially for Marvin Windows software.
In 2012, Chris joined FireFly Computers, initially as a Technical Services Manager, where they deployed and supported NComputing and Microsoft virtual desktops, using customized solutions for each unique environment. Later, they became the Director of Technical Solutions, leading a team of technicians and specializing in providing value-added services and support to educational institutions.
Currently, Chris holds the position of Director of Enterprise IT at Trafera. Following the merger of FireFly Computers and Trinity3 into Trafera, they took over internal IT and technical support. Chris played a crucial role in the integration of Trinity3 and later AXI into Syteline 10 (ERP) and Hubspot (CRM).
Chris McLaird graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Spanish and History. After completing their undergraduate studies, Chris went on to pursue further education at Century College from 2008 to 2010. At Century College, they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Information Technology. In addition to their degrees, Chris holds a certification in CompTia A+ from the MCP institution, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
