Donna Roybal, MD, DFAACAP, serves as a Staff Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Traditions Behavioral Health since June 2021. Previously, Donna held various academic positions at UT Health San Antonio from August 2013 to June 2021, including Associate Professor in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Pediatrics, and as a Director of several programs, such as the Pediatric PTSD Clinic and Child and Adolescent Consult Liaison Service. During this time, Donna was also involved in research as a Principal Investigator focusing on neuroimaging and epigenetics related to social cognition in youth with bipolar disorder. Earlier in Donna's career, roles included Chief Child Psychiatry Fellow and Postdoctoral Medical Fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine, specializing in neuroimaging research related to Pediatric Bipolar Disorder, alongside residency training at UC San Diego Health System. Donna completed medical education at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and holds a B.A. in Business Economics from UCLA.
