Paul Whitworth has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Paul is currently the President of AutoTrader.ca, where they are leading the largest digital automotive marketplace in Canada and working on creating a seamless automotive buying experience connecting consumers with lenders and dealers. Paul also serves as an Advisor at Automotive Ventures, a leading automotive technology and mobility venture capital firm, where they help identify the best companies and drive outsized growth.

Prior to their current roles, Paul held various leadership positions at Cox Automotive Inc. from 2012 to 2022. Paul served as the Senior Vice President, Solution Leader, Inventory Management Solutions, where they developed new solutions to increase efficiency and transparency in wholesale and retail vehicle markets. Paul also led Kelley Blue Book and launched new products to expand the brand's leadership in vehicle valuations and improve the consumer experience.

Before Cox Automotive, Paul co-founded LightSource Renewables, LLC, a renewable energy development firm, where they served as the COO. Paul was also a Strategic Advisor at vAuto: Cox Automotive and a Co-Founder of AutoPoint, a company that developed customer loyalty and service management solutions for car dealerships.

Earlier in their career, Paul worked at Reynolds & Reynolds, Hyundai Motor America, Newgen, and Accenture, where they played key roles in turning struggling companies around, developing retail strategies for automotive companies, managing product development and marketing, and building CRM and digital retailing strategies.

Paul Whitworth attended the University of Toronto from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a BASc degree in Civil Engineering. Following this, they pursued further education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1991 to 1993, earning an MS degree in Technology & Policy, with a focus on Civil Engineering.
