Shalabh Singhal has had a range of work experiences throughout their career. Shalabh is currently the Founder and CEO of Trademo, a company focused on building a single truth on global supply chains to support businesses in discovering new commerce opportunities, ensuring trade regulation compliance, and establishing operational resilience. Prior to Trademo, Shalabh was the Co-Founder and Director of ZipLoan, where they played a key role in providing easy access to unsecured working capital for small business owners in India. Before that, they founded Credence. Shalabh also gained experience at Goldman Sachs, where they worked in asset management and began as an intern. Overall, their career has encompassed entrepreneurship, finance, and technology.
Shalabh Singhal began their education in 2005 at the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, where they pursued a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical Engineering. Shalabh successfully completed their degree in 2009.
Afterwards, Shalabh Singhal joined the CFA Institute, USA, where they passed all three levels of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) program. This took place between 2009 and 2014, during which they studied Equity Valuation, Corporate Finance, Alternative Investments, Portfolio Management, and Fixed Income.
In 2017, they attended Udacity and obtained a certification in Deep Learning Nanodegree Foundation, focusing on Machine Learning.
Further in their educational journey, Shalabh Singhal enrolled in 2018 in the Stanford University Graduate School of Business for the Stanford Seed program in Business Administration and Management. Shalabh completed the program in 2019.
Additionally, Shalabh Singhal holds several certifications. In 2014, they became a CFA Charterholder by obtaining the certification from the CFA Institute. Also in 2014, they completed "The Design of Everyday Things" course from Coursera. In 2014, they obtained certifications in "Surviving Disruptive Technologies" and "Creativity, Innovation, and Change" from Coursera. In 2013, they obtained a certification in "Understanding Media by Understanding Google" from Coursera. Furthermore, in 2008, Shalabh Singhal achieved the "Sun Certified Web Component Developer" certification from Sun Microsystems. Lastly, in 2007, they obtained the "Sun Certified Java Programmer 5.0" certification, also from Sun Microsystems.
