Alison Jayne has over 36 years of experience in the hospitality and event production industries. Alison began their career in 1984 as a National Sales Manager/Director of Sales for Intercontinental Hotels and Hyatt Hotels. In 1992, they took on the role of Director of Sales for Omni Charleston Place. In 1996, they were hired as National Conference Sales Manager for Wild Dunes Resort. In 1997, they became the owner of Catamaran Adventure Tours, Inc., where they coordinated corporate/incentive groups, managed staffing and budgets, and liaised with hotel and resort staff. In 2004, they took on the role of National Sales Account Manager for the Tides Inn, where they repositioned the Tides Inn's exposure in the Washington/Maryland/Northern Virginia markets. In 2007, they became the owner of Jaynes Maritime, Inc., where they built USCG certified day sail catamarans for the resort and tourist trades. Finally, in 2006, they were hired as Global Sourcing Director for Trademark Event Productions, Inc., a global full-service experiential event marketing agency.
Alison Jayne received their Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA from Chaminade University of Honolulu in 1983, having studied Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from 1981-1983.
