Peter Byrnes is an experienced professional in the metals recycling industry, currently serving as the General Manager at Trademark Metals Recycling LLC since April 2014. Prior to this role, Peter held various leadership positions, including President of OneSteel Recycling from June 2013 to April 2014 and General Manager at Mapleleaf Metals from July 2012 to June 2013. Peter's career in operations management began at Onesteel Recycling, where responsibilities included North American Operations Manager, State Operations Manager, and Stevedore/Yard Manager from March 2008 to July 2012. Earlier in Peter's career, roles as Marine Superintendent at Schnitzer Steel and Officer at US Merchant Marine from 1997 to 2004 contributed to a strong foundation in logistics and marine transport. Peter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Transportation from SUNY Maritime between 1993 and 1997.
