Volodymyr Shcherbinin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Volodymyr started their career in 1999 as a System Administrator at the National Technical University of Ukraine. Volodymyr then worked as the Head of the Technical Department at Extreme Telecom from 2000 to 2005. Volodymyr served as the CTO at Interconnect in 2005 and then became the CEO at Newtelco Ukraine. In 2007, they joined Kyivstar GSM as a Principal Engineer and later moved to EPAM Systems as the Barclays Networks Team Lead. From 2009 to 2015, they pursued their passion for music as a Bass Player and Producer at Chorna Rada. In 2011, they returned to the IT industry and worked as the Head of Solution Development Ukraine & Eurasia at Ericsson. Volodymyr then joined Squads in 2015 as a Customer Guardian and DevOps specialist. Currently, they hold the position of Country Manager, Infrastructure Lead, and Engineering Manager at TradeCloud - Supply Chain Platform. Volodymyr has a wide range of skills and expertise in areas such as infrastructure design and management, public clouds (GCP, AWS), orchestration (K8s, Mesos, Marathon), CI/CD (Jenkins, Gitlab CI), cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), IaaC (Terraform, Ansible), and various technologies like Docker, Kafka, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL. Volodymyr is known for their problem-solving skills, customer satisfaction, and successful resolution of critical issues.
Volodymyr Shcherbinin graduated from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' in 2003 with a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Volodymyr has also obtained various certifications, including Functional Programming in Scala Capstone, Functional Programming in Scala Specialization, Big Data Analysis with Scala and Spark, Parallel programming, Functional Program Design in Scala, Functional Programming Principles in Scala, and Ericsson IP Routing Professional. These certifications were obtained from institutions such as Coursera and Ericsson between the years 2014 and 2017.
