Geoffrey Barnes is an accomplished Accounting and SME Business Consultant with extensive experience in financial structuring, reporting, and tax advisement. Since 2009, Geoffrey has operated an independent consulting firm, providing accounting services and tax preparation for individuals, self-employed clients, and SMEs. In addition to this role, Geoffrey has served as a Senior Accountant and Contract Accountant at Track Group since 2014, where responsibilities include accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial statement preparation, payroll administration, and involvement in special projects. Previously, Geoffrey worked as a Contract Accountant at G2 Research Ltd and was a supervisor of accounts receivable at the Capital District Health Authority, overseeing a team and managing substantial outstanding accounts. Geoffrey holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Saint Mary's University and an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Dalhousie University.
