Trey Miller has over 10 years of professional work experience. In 2020, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer for Trace. From 2015 to 2020, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer for LiveTiles. In this role, they developed and maintained the Page Designer product, maintained Azure infrastructure resources, integrated third-party services, created dynamic components, split code into multiple repositories and packages, converted the build process to use Webpack, and reworked the Page Designer to target the SharePoint Framework.

From 2010 to 2015, Trey worked as a Freelancer, where they developed a custom ecommerce website using Umbraco CMS. From 2009 to 2010, Trey worked as a System Administrator for ARES Corporation, where they provided Windows Desktop and Server Support, Scripting, User Administration, MS SQL Server maintenance, Network Management, Exchange Support, Patch Management, Group Policy, Software License Management, and other miscellaneous IT functions.

From 2007 to 2009, Trey worked as a Beginning Strings Instructor/Coach for the CWU Preparatory Strings Program. From 2001 to 2007, Trey worked as a Technical Director for Kepr Tv, where they ran the video switcher board for the Live 5, 6, and 11 o'clock news and created graphics.

Trey Miller has a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Central Washington University with a broad area endorsement. Trey also holds an Associate of Arts (A.A.) from Columbia Basin College. Additionally, Trey is a Triplebyte Certified Generalist Software Engineer, which they obtained in October 2020.
