Mr. McGuirk currently serves as Chief Marketing Officer for TQI Solutions, where he oversees efforts to develop corporate growth strategies, lead capture and proposal teams, and institute enterprise-wide business development best practices.
Mr. McGuirk has over 30 years of business development experience within the defense industry working with all Department of Defense (DoD) branches and over 10 federal civilian agencies. Prior to joining TQI Solutions, Jim served for ten years as the President of McGuirk Consulting, LLC, a strategic business development consulting company where he supported tier-one, mid-tier, and small business clients operating within the public sector. During this time, Jim was responsible for assisting his clients in winning over $50 billion in contract awards within the Department of Defense and Federal Civilian markets.
Prior to this role, Mr. McGuirk served as Senior Vice President of Business Development for CACI International, where he served over 24 years as a senior business development executive. In this role, he managed annual growth plans for a $620M business unit and was successful in leading and capturing over $20B in federal contracts. During this time Mr. McGuirk was involved with strategic growth planning, developing marketing plans, competitive assessment/intelligence, leading capture management teams, and also supported selected mergers and acquisitions.
Jim is a graduate of Harvard Business School in Strategic Marketing Management, co-author of “The Mechanics of Business Efficiency”, by Aspatore Publishing, and an active member of AFCEA International, the Navy League of the United States, and the National Defense Industrial Association.
