Alex Torrance has a diverse work experience in design and user experience. They started their career in 1999 as an In-house Designer at FatCat Records. They then worked as a Graphic Designer and Studio Designer at CC-Lab from 2001 to 2007. Following this, they freelanced as a Graphic Designer and worked on various design projects for clients such as TBWA\London and Ben Sherman. From 2008 to 2011, Alex served as the Creative Director and co-founder of Alex+Alex Ltd, managing projects for renowned galleries and museums. They then joined the Government Digital Service in 2012 as an Interaction Designer, where they worked on GOV. UK and helped grow the design capability within government departments. In 2019, Alex became the Senior User Experience Designer at Juno, a property law start-up, where they introduced user-centered design techniques to improve internal systems and client dashboard. Currently, Alex is working at TPXimpact as a Design Lead, utilizing their expertise in product design.
From 2000 to 2002, Alex Torrance attended the University of West London, where they pursued a degree in Digital Arts with a focus on Multimedia Computing.
