Kane Johnson has a diverse work experience. Kane started their career in 2005 as the President of My-txt.com, a role they held until 2007. Kane then joined OnCampus Publications as the Publisher & CEO from 2006 to 2008. In 2007, they became associated with TPI-The Printer Inc., initially as the Gaming Sales representative until 2011, and later served as the VP of Sales from 2007 to 2022. During this time, they also held the position of President at TPI-The Printer Inc. starting in 2022. In 2017, they joined the WDM Community Schools Foundation as a Board Member until 2019. In 2019, they became a Board Member at Youth Emergency Services & Shelter (YESS), a position they continue to hold.

Kane Johnson attended The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Spanish.
