Rafael Quinonez has extensive work experience in various roles and companies within the automotive industry. From 1996 to 2005, they worked for Eaton as a Quality Assurance / EHS Manager. Rafael then joined Nidec Motors and Actuators (USA), Inc as a Site Quality Manager from 2005 to 2006. Rafael further progressed in their career at Nidec-Valeo, where they served as a Business Unit Manager from 2006 to 2008. Quinonez returned to Nidec Motors and Actuators (USA), Inc as an Operations Manager from 2009 to 2011. Rafael then joined Nidec Automotive Motor Americas as a Plant Manager from 2011 to 2012, and later held positions as Director of Operations from 2012 to 2014, and Director of Quality from 2015 to 2016. Currently, Quinonez is the Director of Quality - Mexico at TPI Composites, Inc since December 2016.

Rafael Quinonez completed an MBA in Engineering/Operation Management from the Instituto Tecnológico de Ciudad Juárez from 1994 to 1998. Rafael has also obtained several certifications, including A3 Problem Solving for Continuous Improvement and Quality Management Foundations from LinkedIn, APQP4Wind - Wind Blade Specialist from DNV GL, ISO9001:2015 Lead Auditor from BSI, Lean Manufacturing Enterprise from the University of Tennessee, and Six Sigma Master Black Belt from Eaton.
